Who I am

This website is operated by “Ted Weiss”, the studio name I use for my artwork. I’m the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What I collect & why:

• Enquiries: your name, email, and message so I can reply. (Legal basis: legitimate interests / consent when you submit.) 
• Orders: name, delivery details, purchase details; payments are processed by Swipe and PayPal. I don’t see or store your full card details. (Legal basis: contract and legal obligation for tax records.)
• Technical logs: your IP address, date/time, pages viewed and basic device info may be captured by my hosting provider Ycode to keep the site secure and running. (Legal basis: legitimate interests—security and performance.)

Payments

When you pay, you’re redirected to Swipe or PayPal. They act as independent controllers/processors for payment data. They may collect additional information needed to complete the transaction and prevent fraud.

Sharing

I don’t sell your data. I only share what’s necessary with:

• Payment processors: Swipe and PayPal (to process your purchase).
• Hosting: Ycode (to serve the website and maintain security).

These providers process data securely and only as needed.

Retention

• Enquiries: up to 12 months.
• Order records: up to 7 years (tax/accounting).
• Technical logs: short, security-driven periods set by the host.

Your rights (UK/EU GDPR)

Security

I use HTTPS and reputable third-party processors. No method is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data.

International transfers

If providers store data outside the UK/EU, they use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Updates

I may update this policy. Changes will appear here with a new “Last updated” date.

Summary

This site currently uses only essential cookies/similar technologies needed to make the website function and to keep it secure (for example, load balancing or security cookies set by the host).
